Explore the Demo Workspace

Get familiar with DirectionalPlan using a preloaded multi-well project before entering your own data.

Open planner & welcome Try sample without an account

Open the demo

Sign in to DirectionalPlan. On the welcome screen, choose Explore Demo Workspace. This loads the Falcon Ridge example project with wells, designs, targets, geology, lease boundaries, and offset data.

If you have already dismissed the welcome screen, open DirectionalPlan → Workspace and locate DirectionalPlan Demo Energy, or use the welcome flow again from the link below.

Follow the four useful stops

  1. Plan View: Open a design in the Workspace tree and choose Plan View from Quick Access to see its trajectory from above.
  2. Geology & Targets: Choose Geology or Targets to see the data used to plan and evaluate the well.
  3. Anti-Collision: Open Center to Center and Separation Factor to compare the active well against saved offsets.
  4. Reports: From the top Reports menu, open Create Directional Report to preview the output.

What to try next

Switch between two plans on the same wellbore, view the same trajectory in Section and 3D, and look at how the selected offset wells influence the anti-collision graphs. You can explore without needing to know all the planning solvers.

Tip: The demo is an example dataset. Always review the coordinate system, survey tool program, and data provenance before treating any imported or example well as an operational reference.
