Select Offset Wells

Choose exactly which nearby wellbores take part in your collision analysis.

Select offset designs

Open Offsets from the Quick Access toolbar. The selection dialog contains a searchable Workspace tree, the radius from the active surface-hole location, a selected-plan count, and actions to select or clear visible designs.

Apply your selection

  1. Search a well name or expand the tree to locate the required plans or actual wellbores.
  2. Check the designs to include and check the selected count.
  3. Choose Apply Offsets.
  4. Run Center to Center and Separation Factor to assess the selected set.
Check the scope: Selecting the wrong phase of an offset well (Plan vs Actual) can change clearance results even if the well name looks correct.
